1/2 GREEN TEAM MARCH 2016
The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go. ~ Dr. Seuss
Welcome to March! We hope all of you had a great fun filled February! We can’t believe it’s already March 2016 these past few months have just flown by! In February, we enjoyed playing in the snow, daily trivia challenges, making cupcakes, learning about the sense of taste and our chewed our way through the great bubble gum challenge!
This month we will focus on a number of the children’s goals that they determined in back September. March goals will focus on cooking, drawing, and sports. March will also be centered around our favorite author, Dr. Seuss. We will be reading a different Dr. Seuss book each day, and doing activities that are comparable with the books we read i.e. making “green eggs and ham”, Oobleck, Seuss Kabobs, Seuss Pizza. Our class will also be voting on what Dr.Seuss movie we will watch and compare the book to the movie. Everyone is excited to share in these activities!
