![]() We hope everyone had a Fabulous February! We look forward to welcoming spring after all the snow we’ve had! We had fun celebrating Valentine's Day and being creative while making Valentines. We used that week to practice being extra kind and working on being a good friend. We learned about different wild animals and penguins this month. The children made some amazing animal crafts and were able to incorporate math while learning about penguins. Our class celebrated one of the children’s birthdays in February on the 28th with a birthday bash! The children had fun decorating a birthday card and eating chocolate cupcakes with lots of sprinkles! We will start the month of March by celebrating Dr.Seuss. We will be reading many of his stories and watching “The Lorax”! We will also focus on accomplishing more of the children’s goals; including making gingerbread cookies, learning about the sky, and creating bead jewelry. We will be having a Sports Day on March 5th as a Wish Day. The children can bring in one sports item to share or play with. We will also incorporate anti-bullying lessons throughout the month. We will have a St. Patrick's Day celebration on the 17th! We will explore signs of spring and different forms of weather, including tornadoes. A couple of reminders this month… * Please sign your child out EVERYDAY! * School Variety Show is on March 14th at 2:00pm and we will be bringing the children!
