Information for New Families First of all, welcome to the Heath School. Our first question will be "Has your family already registered for Brookline Public Schools yet?" If so, we will be following the timeline below for all current and prospective families.
Our Registration Process Our process is based on a first come first serve basis with priority noted below. a pre-registration form will be available on this page beginning on March 21st, 2020.
The Pre-Registration timeline: Current families will have the opportunity to pre-register from March 1st-March 20th. New incoming families will be able to register March 21st - April 3rd, 2020. All pre-registration forms should be completed no later than April 3rd 2020.
ANY FAMILY THAT IS INTERESTED IN JOINING OUR PROGRAM AFTER APRIL 3rd 2020 MUST CONTACT NOELLE AHEARN TO LEARN IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE.
A confirmation will be sent to each family accepted into our program by May 15th 2020. The confirmation will confirm the number of days your child(ren) will be enrolled in HEDP and the amount of the non-refundable registration fee amount, deadline and Smart Tuition application. This confirmation will include proposed tuition rates, registration packet guidelines and valuable end of the year dates.
Families who are not accepted into our program will be notified in writing. However, this format and early pre-registration period has been put into place to minimize the the wait list.
We take pride in serving the needs of your family and look forward to another successful year.
Sincerely, Noelle Ahearn, Director & the Heath Extended Day Parent Board
Waitlist Form for the current school year
We will give preference as follows on a first come first serve basis; current families, siblings of current families, past families, siblings of past families then families that need HEDP due to work or school. Please note that we aim to accommodate full time working, single parent families and parents/guardians that are taking classes. Information for "BUFFER ZONE" families: Please note that HEDP and several other extended days in Brookline understand the challenges of living in an area that is a "buffer zone". It is essential that your family register at all of the the potential extended days since buffer zone decisions are usually made later than the extended day registration deadlines. We only ask that you indicate on your registration packet that your family is in a "buffer zone" or your family may be held liable for extended day policies around withdrawal.
Please email Noelle Ahearn at firstname.lastname@example.org should you want your child to join our exciting program!
