Please note that Heath Extended Day is currently operates on the Brookline Public School Schedule. We do not offer any type of discounts or makeup days for vacations, days of low attendance and professional development days. Our Board of Directors sets tuition rates by 40 weeks or 10 months of programming.

Heath Extended Day is proud to announce we will be partnering with Smart Tuition for the processing and collection of our families’ tuition and fees, for the school year. By moving to a tuition management system, HEDP joins the large majority of programs & schools utilizing such services to better serve families while also improving the school’s cash flow systems.
With Smart Tuition you will be able to:

You can edit your profile, including your username, password, contact information, and payment method information.

You can make a one-time payment or setup monthly scheduled payments.

If you setup to pay automatically, Smart Tuition will e-mail you a reminder of your upcoming payment 7-10 days before your due date.
If you happen to miss a payment or have an outstanding balance, they will kindly remind you by email and phone.

FAQ's with SMART TUITION
Your total due may change each month due to fees, discounts, and adjustments to tuition that have been made by your school.
Who do I contact if I have a question
regarding my bill?
You can call (888) 868-8828, 24/7 and a Smart Tuition representative will be happy to assist in answering your questions. If you disagree with the amount of tuition owed, then we will contact the school on your behalf and clarify the total due. Smart Tuition is not authorized to modify the amount of tuition due or arrange for alternative payment plans without the school’s approval.
Is there a way I can update my username and password?
You can update your password directly from your Smart Tuition account at www.parents.smarttuition.com or you can call us at (888) 868-8828 and a representative will be able to update your username and password.
I just realized my tuition is due in less than two days. What is the
quickest way to make a payment?
Smart Tuition offers a couple of immediate payment options.

- Over the phone 24/7, 365 days a year, by calling (888) 868-8828
Can I pay using my bank’s online bill pay service?
Yes, you can utilize your bank’s online bill pay service to send payments to Smart Tuition. However, there are a few things to note regarding online bill pay. Online bill pay services do NOT electronically transfer funds to Smart Tuition. Your bank will actually mail a check to Smart Tuition. Because of this, we advise that you set up your online bill pay to occur at least 7 days prior to your due date to ensure the check is received by Smart Tuition before the due date.
What is the Smart Tuition parent help center and what can they help me with?
The Smart Tuition parent help center is where a dedicated team of parent specialists are available to assist with questions regarding your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!
Our team of specialists can:
- Provide you with balance information
- Take a payment
- Review your payment history with you
- Update your payment information
- Update your personal/contact information
- Provide/change your online username and password
- Address any concerns regarding your account
Why is my monthly amount different?
I am currently setup to pay automatically each month, but I need to setup new banking information. How can I go about doing that?
Changes to banking information MUST be made at least three business days before your next scheduled debit. You can update your banking information within your Smart Tuition account or you can call us directly at the parent help center.
What is my school’s late payment policy?
If your payment is not made by your due date or you are carrying an outstanding balance, a late fee may apply. Smart Tuition will remind you of your upcoming payment to help you pay on time. We will also advise you when you have missed a payment to help you catch up and avoid future fees.
Please note late payment fees below:
$15.00 LATE FEE will be applied to HEDP
$45.00 LATE FEE will be applied to SMART TUITION
$60.00 (please make your payments on time or contact Noelle Ahearn to set up a payment plan).
Are there bank fees associated with payments that are not successful?
A fee of $25 will be applied to your account for any failed payment processed via auto-debit, phone, web, and for failed check payments. Your bank may impose additional fees.
What credit cards do you accept?
Smart Tuition currently partners with MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. You can use your debit card if it has one of the above-mentioned company logos displayed on the card. Please note that if you choose to use your debit card, it will be treated as a credit card and a 2.65% convenience fee will apply. If you would like to use your checking account to pay, you can do so by mailing a check, making a one-time payment, or setting up automatic monthly payments directly from your checking or savings account.
What can I do once I have logged into my Smart Tuition account online?
On our parent website, you can do the following:
- Make a payment
- Review payment history
- Change/edit your payment information
- Update your personal information
- View and print invoices (for mail in payers)
- See an itemized breakdown of tuition, fees, and discounts billed to your account
HOW TO ENROLL IN SMART TUITION
ONLINE ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Heath School Extended Day Program has partnered with Smart Tuition to service your child’s tuition account. To enroll online, please follow the instructions below:
1. ONLINE ENROLLMENT
Go to: enroll.smarttuition.com
2. NEW REGISTRATION
Enter your school’s code, 12157, your email address and click NEWREGISTRATION.
An email containing your unique registration code will be sent to your email address. You can access your enrollment form at any time with this registration code. Next, click CONTINUE and you will be directed to your school’s online enrollment form.
3. SECTION1–ENTER FAMILY INFORMATION
Enter the parent, guardian, or bill payer’s contact information. Please provide your telephone number and email address, as Smart Tuition regularly communicates important information about your account via telephone and email.
4. SECTION 2 – SELECT A PAYMENT PLAN
Review the available payment plans offered by your school and choose one. The payment plans listed are selected by your school and cannot be changed by Smart Tuition without school permission.
5. SECTION 3 – SELECT A PAYMENT METHOD
Tell us ‘how’ and ‘when’ you will make payments. Select your preferred method of payment and due date from the options offered by your school.
6. SECTION 4 – ENTER STUDENT INFORMATION
Enter the name and grade of the children who will attend the school.
7. SECTION 5 – READ AND SIGN
Review Smart Tuition’s terms and conditions, check off the I AGREE box, and click CONTINUE to submit your enrollment form.
After completing the form, you will be presented with a confirmation page and your information will be submitted to Heath School Extended Day Program for review and account activation. You will receive a letter in the mail with login instructions for your online account once your school has activated the account.
Once activated, you can access your Smart Tuition account at parent.smarttuition.com. Login to your Smart online account to view your balance, make payments, update your personal information, chat with a live representative and more.
Smart Tuition manages the tuition payment program for your school and follows the policies established by your school. Please note that tuition amounts, tuition aid, scholarships and all other tuition related decisions are made by your school.

Please contact Noelle Ahearn should you have any concerns about registering with Smart Tuition. HEDP will have computers available for Smart Tuition enrollment to help minimize any challenges.
Tuition Payments and Receipts
We ask that all tuition payments are made no later than the 1st of each month. We encourage families to pay by the 15th of the proceeding month to minimize any late payment fees. Please note that HEDP is currently under contract with Smart Tuition, a tuition collection company.
It is essential that you write your child's name on the bottom left area of your check and when making payment.
Please give us 10 business days for all signed receipt requests. Smart Tuition will give you the freedom to print receipts as needed. Families are encouraged to connect with the director request anything additional.
Please note that we now have a new mailing address for tuition payments and corespondents. Please update your address book and bank information for those who send payments electronically.
