MAY 2014 4-6 Newsletter What’s happening in 4-6? During the month of May, students in 4-6 will be finishing up their portfolio pages and gathering and preparing artwork to display at the end of “HEDP end of year celebration.” Art that will be displayed will include their U.S. monuments, posters, stuffed fabric dolls with clothes they have been busy sewing, and more! In addition this month, we will continue with a curriculum based on student goals. On Friday, May 9th, 4-6 will be hosting a “Milly Wan Potato” party! “Milly Wan Potato” is a story that one of our fourth grade students started last year. As each part is completed, this fourth grade student shares it will the class. We have reserved time on Fridays during our Friday share for this student to share her story.
