I hope everyone is having a great start to the new year! We are excited to be back and hope for a happy and healthy new year! We are also excited to continue with our letter of the week activities. We will be starting with letter D and moving our way to letter G in the month of January. We have been enjoying incorporating math, science, art, baking, and reading into our letter of the week activities and will continue to do so! When asked, a lot of our kindergartners wanted to know about dinosaurs. So we will be focusing our letter D week on activities about dinosaurs. For letter E we will be doing an egg experiment, learning a little bit about elephants, and talking about the sneaking silent letter E in words. During the week of letter F we will be learning about fish and their habitats, how to take care of our classroom fish, measuring with our feet, and writing letters to our future first grade selves. Lastly for week of letter G we will be doing a writing prompt “If you were stuck in a snowglobe...”, making art gardens, and gumdrop buildings. Warm wishes, Angelica, Mackenzie, and Christiane Wish list: Clorox wipes gumdrops tooth picks
