APRIL We hope everyone had a wonderful March! We finally finished our alphabet books, despite all our snow days!! We enjoyed reading many great stories and creating wonderful art projects. We welcomed Spring by creating a new bulletin board outside the classroom, we hope it brings the warm weather! We celebrated two birthdays on March 22nd by decorating sugar cookies and crown cards! These next few months we will be focusing on interesting places throughout the United States. We will explore different cities and National Parks. We will be wearing our chef hats to cook up regional favorites; like New England Apple Pie and Southwest Salsa! We will also conduct several science experiments and learn a little history. We are excited to learn fun facts about the USA along with the children. For the month of April we will be learning about New England, The Southwest, The Mid-Atlantic States and The Southeast. If you plan on traveling during April vacation please let us know if you would like to take Flat Stanley along. He has been on some great adventures and we believe he has so much more to explore!! This month we have three (3) early release days at 12:30pm.
